Irish Dance Classes

For children & adults

Four great reasons to take Irish Dance classes at our school:

1.  We are non-competitive!

2.  You can learn Irish dancing for fun, while still learning the correct technique.

3.  We have low tuition costs

4.  We have a simple dress code, and no expensive costumes to purchase.

Irish Dance is a wonderful sport and a creative art form.

It is a fun, energetic type of folkdance that has been popularized by the world-famous “Riverdance”.

The intricate steps and fast paced movements are an excellent workout and fun too!

Irish Dance…

·        Corrects posture and leg alignment

·        Is a cardio vascular workout

·        Builds stamina, strength and muscle

·        Creates self discipline

·        Build confidence and self esteem

·        Teaches body awareness and control

·        Helps with motion memory and co-ordination

·        Teaches rhythm

·        Develops friendships

·        Promotes teamwork and group support

·        Teaches intricate steps and fun dance routines.

In our Irish Dance classes you will learn:

Traditional soft and hard shoe work, including reels, jigs, treble jigs, and the St. Patrick's Day Dance.

Here's your chance to learn all the technical steps without stressing over competitions.

A great class for cardio exercise, yet with the discipline of a ballet class!

Classes are taught by  Miss Monica Sorce.

Miss Monica studied with the Morrisey School of Irish Dance
