Dress Code

This dress code is especially designed to train you to perfection in your

 

Ballet Classes

 

It is not required for your first class, but we would like you to obtain it soon as possible. 

You will soon see how and why it is so important.

 Parents - please send your child with a water bottle to each class.


 Ballet:  Tiny Tots, Primary, & Introductory: (ages 3 - 7 yrs.)

"Classwear" short sleeve leotard in regulation colors as listed below:                                                          

  •   Tiny Tots                     pink

  •   Primary                      white

  •   Introductory               lavender

 "M-Stevens" Ballet Skirt (in color to match leotard)                                                                                     


 Ballet: Levels I, & II:   (estimated age group is 8 yrs & over)

"Motionwear Silkskyn" 3 seam camisole leotard with scoop front, mid scoop back, and full front lining, in regulation colors as listed below:                                                                   

*       Level I                           teal

*       Level II                          ultraviolet (purple) 

Black Ballet Belt                                                                                                                                            


Ballet: Adult Classes (Beginner, Refresher, Elementary, and Intermediate):

"Motionwear Silkskyn" 3 seam camisole black leotard with scoop front, mid scoop back, and full front lining.  


Tights                                    Theatrical pink/shimmering OR regular ballet pink                               

Ballet Shoes                          Soft pink leather.  Draw string.      

Shoe Ribbons                      (From Grade I students will need to wear shoe ribbons)            

Leg Warmers   (optional)    Knit leggings/pink

Wrap Sweater (optional)    Pink


Ballet attire for boys and men:

Grey, white, or black tights, men’s dance belt, white close-fitting T-shirt, white socks, black ballet shoes.


Hair Style:  Always make sure that your hair is styled so that the back of your neck can be clearly seen.

This is an important part of training.  Remember - the more elegant you look, the better you will dance.
